What does a manpower consultancy in Mauritius do?
We source, screen and place skilled and semi-skilled workers from Nepal and India for employers in Mauritius, and we prepare the candidate files and supporting documents your work-permit application needs. You remain the employer; we handle the search and the paperwork around it.
Which industries do you recruit for?
Hospitality, construction, manufacturing and textile, engineering, agriculture, security guards, supermarket and retail, HVAC, healthcare, information technology, oil and gas, heavy equipment operators, auto mechanics, office and administration, and restaurant and catering, 15 sectors in total.
Which countries do you source workers from?
Primarily Nepal and India, through our regional office in Kathmandu and our partner network, with a further office in Dubai for Gulf-based clients.
Who applies for the work permit?
The employer is the applicant. For an ordinary Work Permit application, the employer or an employee on its Contribution Sociale Généralisée (CSG) payroll list submits through the National E-Licensing Platform (NELS). Domestic-worker cases have a close-relative exception. The Ministry of Labour and Industrial Relations administers the Work Permit. We help prepare supporting documents for the employer’s submission.
What documents will you need from us?
Typically a demand letter stating the roles and numbers, a power of attorney, a service agreement, a guarantee letter and the employment contract for each worker. We provide a sample of each document.
How long does recruitment take?
Sourcing and screening depend on the roles and staffing numbers. Permit processing and health-clearance times are set by the authorities, so we build a realistic timeline with you at the first consultation.
Do candidates pay recruitment fees?
No. Our recruitment costs are borne by the employer, in line with Mauritius' private recruitment agency rules; candidates are never charged for placement.
